Job Description

About Us

At UNLOK, we're building investing products that help everyday investors better understand global financial markets.

We work with market data, alternative data, and AI to build tools that explain what markets are doing, why they're moving, and what investors may be pricing in.

We're looking for a Quantitative Researcher who is genuinely interested in prediction markets and wants to explore how prediction market data can be useful to investors.

What You'll Do

  • Research prediction markets across political, economic, corporate, and macro events
  • Develop indicators using probabilities, prices, volume, liquidity, and changes in market expectations
  • Study how prediction market activity relates to equities and other financial markets
  • Build analytics around major economic, political, and geopolitical events
  • Test how useful prediction market signals have been historically
  • Work with developers to turn research into products for investors

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in quantitative research, trading research, data science, or financial analytics
  • Strong Python and quantitative analysis skills
  • Good understanding of prediction markets, probabilistic forecasting, event-driven investing, or market structure
  • Ability to develop and test new ideas independently
  • Someone who actively follows financial markets and enjoys researching how markets behave

Nice to Have

  • Experience with prediction market platforms or datasets
  • Quantitative trading or systematic investing experience
  • Election forecasting, sports betting analytics, or macroeconomic research
  • Bayesian statistics or machine learning
