Senior/Principal Data Engineer

The Role

You'll join a small, senior data engineering team and own the full data infrastructure — from pipeline architecture through to the warehouse models that drive decisions across the business. No product managers, no bureaucracy. You work directly with the founding team and ship end to end.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and warehousing solutions
• Optimise data infrastructure performance and implement automated data quality monitoring
• Partner with engineering and go-to-market teams to deliver analytics that drive strategy
• Respond quickly to urgent, business-critical data requests with accuracy

Requirements

• 7+ years of data engineering experience
• Strong grasp of data modelling, warehouse design, and ETL best practices
• Hands-on with modern data stack: Snowflake, Airflow, DBT, and AWS
• Experience with distributed systems and data streaming (Kafka or Kinesis)
• Proven ability to turn around time-sensitive requests without cutting corners
