Quantitative Researcher

About Us

A high-growth B2B fintech based in Paris specializing in international payments via stablecoins. The product value rests on the ability to trade efficiently across FX, crypto, and stablecoins markets. An initial algorithm is already in production but has reached its limitations.

The Role

As a Quant Researcher, you will join a trading-first team (already composed of 2 quant profiles) to build a true trading vertical from scratch: modeling, strategies, execution, and algo performance. You will be one of the founders of this vertical, meaning a significant level of ownership and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Research and model trading strategies (maker/taker, arbitrage, market making)
• Analyze microstructure of multi-currency and multi-exchange markets
• Backtest and calibrate models before production deployment
• Collaborate closely with engineering to industrialize strategies
• Be at the heart of product strategy, with direct impact on business decisions

Requirements

• Strong quantitative background (mathematics, statistics, quantitative finance, engineering)
• Experience in trading strategy research and modeling
• Appetite for crypto and FX markets
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in a start-up environment
