Business Analyst (Blockchain)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly-motivated Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams in the design and delivery of blockchain-based solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, tokenization, smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), and enterprise blockchain applications. The role involves gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, defining product specifications, and supporting the successful implementation of blockchain platforms and products.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements (BRD, user stories, use cases).
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for blockchain solutions.
• Work with product, engineering, and architecture teams on blockchain use cases (tokenization, DeFi, payments, custody).
• Support Agile delivery including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (KYC/AML, digital assets, data privacy).
• Facilitate stakeholder communication across business, tech, and compliance teams.
• Conduct market and blockchain trend analysis, such as Ethereum, Solana.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in fintech, banking, or blockchain projects.
• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals (DLT, smart contracts, tokenization, wallets, DeFi).
• Experience gathering requirements and producing BRD, FRD, user stories, and process flows.
• Familiarity with digital asset products (crypto, stablecoins, tokenized assets, custody, payments).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (KYC/AML, compliance, data privacy) in financial systems.
• Ability to engage and align stakeholders across business, product, compliance, and engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
• Basic understanding of APIs and system integration is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills.
