We apply data science and econometric techniques to identify, investigate and analyze fraud in various domains, including finance, healthcare and cryptocurrencies. The Role

We are hiring entrepreneurial and quantitatively skilled graduates with a background in economics and mathematics who are interested in applying their skills to identify, investigate and analyze fraud.

Responsibilities

• Working as a data detective to examine potentially fraudulent patterns
• Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to identify opportunities to detect fraud and identify fraud detection methods
• Building, cleaning, compiling and analyzing datasets to find insights and fraud patterns using econometrics, statistics and other forms of analyses
• Building scripts, algorithms and code to process and analyze large datasets effectively and efficiently
• Presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

• PhD in Economics required, with Finance and Mathematics background a plus
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, R, or other scripting languages
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail with big-picture understanding
• Ability to work well in teams
• Highest ethical standards
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (visa sponsorship unavailable)
