The Role

We are hiring entrepreneurial and quantitatively-skilled graduates with a background in economics and mathematics who are interested in applying their skills to identify, investigate and analyze fraud in various domains, including finance, healthcare and cryptocurrencies.

Responsibilities

• Work as a data detective to examine potentially fraudulent patterns
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify opportunities to detect fraud and identify fraud detection methods
• Build, clean, compile and analyze datasets to find insights and fraud patterns using econometrics, statistics and other forms of analyses
• Build scripts, algorithms and code to process and analyze large datasets effectively and efficiently
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements

• PhD background in Economics required
• Finance and Mathematics background a plus
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, R, or other scripting languages
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail with big-picture understanding
• Ability to work well in teams
• Highest ethical standards
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (visa sponsorship is not available)
