The Role

We're looking for an Infrastructure & Data Engineer who is first and foremost a strong developer, passionate about building and scaling robust systems. You'll own the backbone of our data platform - designing, building, and ensuring everything runs smoothly at massive scale.

This role focuses on infrastructure and platform engineering, with data engineering responsibilities complementing that focus. This is your opportunity to make a real impact in the early stages of a cutting-edge product, working alongside some of the best engineers in the field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance data pipelines, warehouses, and reporting systems
• Build scalable ETL and real-time streaming architectures to power critical security insights
• Own and evolve our cloud infrastructure and production environments
• Contribute across the entire engineering lifecycle - from planning to execution, delivery, and beyond
• Solve complex data quality, infrastructure, and workflow challenges
• Keep production systems healthy, reliable, and running smoothly at scale
• Optimize and scale systems to handle massive amounts of blockchain data

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of software development experience with strong Python skills
• Solid experience building and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure also considered)
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience - deploying, managing, and troubleshooting
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi)
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with databases at scale
• Experience with CI/CD practices and building deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with data pipelines and big data and streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or Flink)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across application and infrastructure layers
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry; Grafana and similar tools)
• Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment
• Can-do attitude, strong communication skills, and a team player mindset
