The Role

This isn't a typical Lead Business Analyst role. You will work on initiatives that genuinely transform how finance works in India—an opportunity few roles offer. You will translate complex business objectives into actionable insights, leveraging data to uncover user behavior through cohort and funnel analysis. By bridging the gap between data and business strategy, you will enable informed product and growth decisions with strong analytical rigor.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical recommendations to influence product, marketing and strategy
• Design and evaluate product and growth experiments backed by solid hypotheses and build and deploy machine learning models wherever necessary
• Find insights that influence decisions spanning from early data explorations about user behavior to multivariate experiments and optimizations
• Provide user insights through data including cohorts analysis, user segmentation, funnels and behavioral analyses in partnership with growth, product, engineering and UX
• Lead a team as well as contribute as an IC to some projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Analyst or in a similar role
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent SQL skills and experience in at least one scripting language (Python or R) for data manipulation and automation
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and experiment designs
• Hands-on experience with product analytics and BI tools such as MixPanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics, Looker, and Tableau
• Strong technical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in business process improvement
• Mentorship experience
• Project management experience
