About Us

At Request Finance, we are working on enhancing the platform used by over 1,400 Web 3.0 companies like AAVE, The Sandbox, and Maker to manage their B2B crypto payments. Managing crypto payments is an administrative nightmare for businesses. Our app solves that with thoughtful features like a dashboard showing all your invoices and their on-chain payment statuses, paying hundreds of invoices to different wallets in a few clicks, scheduling recurring invoices, and more.

The Role

We are looking for a data engineer to make our internal reports reliable and easy to adapt. You will be a great team player who can elaborate on initial needs as they surface and guide compromises with quality and agility in mind. You will also rely on the product teams to understand the data.

Responsibilities

• Design, architecture and implementation of reports to follow-up on Request Finance products adoption
• Create reports across multiple domains: business (user retention, geographical spread, split per business type), feature usage (split per token, currency, blockchain, business type etc.) and technical reports (resilience, speed and accuracy of payment detection)
• Build reporting infrastructure and software on top of MongoDB
• Collaborate with product teams to understand data needs and requirements

Requirements

• Quality spirit: you are appealed by great software
• Stability spirit: automated tests and QA are a must for you
• Good knowledge of MongoDB
• Good experience with ETL, data warehousing / data lakes
• Autonomous and out-of-the-box thinker
• Comfortable with Typescript
