The Role

Our Trading Product Group leads the design of all the products on OKX's derivatives trading exchange, including spot trading, spot margin, futures, leveraged tokens, trading options and more. We seek a senior trading data analyst to join the Trading Analysis team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall business analysis of trading products.
• Implement data-driven approaches to find the optimal solution for business growth, from the perspectives of market share, company revenue, user transaction costs, etc.
• Develop and improve existing data analysis tools, including automated data reporting mechanisms, automatic data alarm system and dashboard, to improve efficiency of fetching and analyzing data.
• Dive into the business, dig into key-points and problems, build data models independently, output data reports regularly, and identify business issues in a timely manner.
• Carry out analysis projects independently with concrete conclusions and feasible schemes, as well as drive the implementation of business decisions.

Requirements

• At least 4 years experience in data analysis or business analysis for Internet companies, able to independently take charge of medium and large scale analysis projects.
• Good data sensitivity to extract core metrics and indexes from business logic and user scenarios, and ability to draw conclusions from massive amounts of data.
• Skilled in mainstream data analysis tools such as Hive, SQL, Tableau, Python, etc.
• Rigorous logical thinking and skilled at organizing and coordinating resources to solve problems and achieve collaborative goals between departments.
• Proactive, self-driven, with excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Experience in trading financial products such as stocks, funds, forex, futures, options.
• Background in Math, statistics, computer, finance, economics or other related majors preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English for liaising with counterparts in Mandarin speaking markets.
• Current right to work in Hong Kong (visa sponsorship not available).
