About the Team

This is an exciting opportunity to join Luno's awesome Finance team in a role within the FP&A sub-team focused on helping us get the right information into the hands of our decision makers.

The FP&A team is made up of 2 finance business partners, 1 senior commercial analyst, 1 commercial analyst, 1 FP&A analyst and a head of financial planning.

The Role

This role will focus on building and maintaining the right datasets to support FP&A and the wider business to make the best decisions for Luno in terms of cost base and ROI. This role will also support FP&A with budgets and forecasts as well as reporting.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining data tables and front end UX pages in Anaplan and Database
• Analysis and reporting on key cost measures including customer unit economics
• Cleaning and sense checking data from other teams and systems
• Designing cost measures that are meaningful for the business to assess ROI
• Forecasting centrally managed costs including payroll
• Supporting Head of FP&A with managing annual budget process as well as forecasts on both cash and accruals basis
• Assisting with internal and Board reporting

Requirements

• Commercially curious mindset
• Excellent project management skills
• Highly IT literate, comfortable operating and learning new systems
• Experience working with large datasets
• Background in finance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to Have

• CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified
• Background in data or experience working closely with data analysts or scientists
• Knowledge of SQL
• Experience in cryptocurrency or regulated retail financial services
• Experience with Anaplan
• Experience calculating customer unit economics
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Proven track record for process improvement and implementation
