Job Description
About the Role
We're working with several crypto trading firms looking for researchers who can extract alpha from blockchain data.
Responsibilities
- Build data pipelines from on-chain sources
- Parse smart contract logs (EVM/Solana/Cosmos)
- Classify wallet addresses
- Transform blockchain data into tradeable signals
- Work closely with traders and quants to develop production-ready research
Requirements
- Strong Python skills
- Proficiency in SQL
- Comfort working with complex blockchain data
- Experience with node infrastructure (preferred)
- Familiarity with DeFi protocols (bonus)
- Exposure to Rust or Solidity (bonus)
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of on-chain data and blockchain ecosystems
- Experience in trading research (preferred but not essential)
- Independent research background or protocol-level experience
