About Us

Our client is a Global Trading Platform that bridges the gap between Institutional Finance and Crypto. They are currently expanding APAC teams, starting with a Data Engineer focusing on infrastructure.

The Role

This is a highly technical position where you'll be designing low-latency pipelines from scratch using Python, Golang, Kafka, and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Use a modern tech stack to design and build high-throughput data pipelines and tooling.
• Design and scale Kafka real-time streaming services for event-driven systems.
• Take ownership of DataOps to ensure the trading platform is robust and reliable.
• Troubleshoot critical production issues and develop long-term solutions.
• Drive AI initiatives to optimise data workflows and team efficiency.
• Spearhead the deployment, automation, and scaling of data infrastructure utilising Terraform and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of proven experience in data platform architecture and infrastructure engineering.
• Advanced coding skills in Python or Golang, focusing on writing efficient and maintainable code.
• Proven proficiency with Databricks and Apache Spark to process high-volume datasets.
• Leverage dbt and Airflow to streamline data modeling and automate critical pipelines.
• Prior professional experience within the Crypto or Web3 space is highly advantageous.
• Fluent English communication skills.
