The Role

We are looking for a motivated and fast-learning Automation & Data Intern to join our Automation Team. In this role, you will help the team build dashboards, generate reports, and support data-driven automation initiatives. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with data, writing SQL queries, creating Excel reports, and using Python for data processing. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with data visualization, automation workflows, and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards using Apache Superset.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
• Use Python for data processing, transformation, and automation tasks.
• Create and maintain advanced Excel reports and dashboards for business and operational insights.
• Work with APIs to fetch and process data from external systems.
• Support automation initiatives by developing data workflows and reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with the automation team to implement improvements and new ideas.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards.

Requirements

• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, complex formulas (INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF, etc.), data cleaning and reporting, and Excel dashboards and report automation.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python for data processing.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and data integration.
• Familiarity with data automation workflows.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
• Fast learner who can quickly understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Self-driven and proactive in solving problems.
• Ability to experiment, learn, and implement new ideas quickly.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Apache Superset or other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
