About the Role
BCB is seeking a Web3 Financial Crime Data Analyst to join their Data team and support the Financial Crime Operations team. You will be responsible for building and owning data analytics capabilities, serving as a critical bridge between data resources and operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and build robust data pipelines for Financial Crime Operations
- Conduct proactive analysis of complex datasets to identify fraud trends and hidden risks
- Lead transition from manual spreadsheet processes to scalable data environments
- Prepare datasets for AI and Large Language Model (LLM) consumption
- Build and maintain insightful dashboards and automated reporting
- Provide analytical support for Transaction Monitoring model calibration
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert on financial crime data
Requirements
- Extensive experience in data science, data analytics, or data engineering
- Preferably background in financial crime, risk, or compliance within payments, crypto, or banking sectors
- Strong proficiency in SQL and BigQuery
